On May 20, we delivered 15 units in Kinderdijk that will be used as emergency shelters for Ukrainian refugees. The 15 units all have a standard size of 6.05 x 2.43m. At the location we have linked different units to each other to create sleeping and living areas. There is also a sanitary unit that can be used as a toilet and shower room. We are very happy that we can use our products and knowledge to provide temporary shelter for the refugees.
residential units
We were able to realize this project in a short time. This is because the residential units and office units that we have used can be supplied from stock. There are different types of office units and residential units as standardwith dimensions 6.05 x 2.43 m in stock. It was important for this project that large spaces were also created. All units we supply are linkable and stackable. On this project we made six linked units of 6.05 x 4.88 m that are used as a bedroom or living room. In addition to the standard residential units and office units, we can of course also realize customized units for you. In cooperation with our factory, we can make any unit as desired. For example, it is possible to choose different door types, window types and panel types. It is also possible to make a RAL color as desired. As a result, you will always receive a unit that exactly meets your needs.
Panel system
The panels of the unit can be arranged as you wish. The walls contain a standard number of panels. So you can choose where you want to place a window or where you want to place a door. It is also possible to choose what type of insulation the panel has. Thanks to all the different options, it is therefore possible to put together a unit according to your wishes. It is also possible to add accessories to the unit afterwards.
For example, you can install air conditioning or heating. If you want to have a kitchen or toilet installed in the unit, this is no problem. From the factory we have a lot of options that are possible for the unit. In short, the possibilities are endless!

The Residential Units in Kinderdijk are units that have been specially produced for the customer. At Modular Units we can put together special units for each customer on request.
